Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad is a simple and tasty condiment for ice cream or this fruit salad can be eaten by itself. It is sweet and delicious and will leave your mouth watering. This is a recipe I got from my Mother-in-law. Thanks Athamma :). You don't have to use the same fruits as listed below, feel free to substitute whereever you wish. Your favorite nuts can also be added into the mixture. Bon Appetite :)

Ingredients:
1 banana peeled
1 golden apple
1 mango peeled
1 nectarine
1 plum
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water

Method:
1. Cut fruits and place into a bowl.
2. Heat pot on medium heat and pour water and sugar and mix.
3. Leave the liquid to heat until all the sugar melts and turns into a sticky consistency syrup (touch and if sticky then turn off heat).
4. After it cools pour into bowl with fruits and mix well.
5. Serve by itself or use as a topping on your favorite ice cream.
